The BrightSide Theatre began in the Summer of 2009 with three old friends sitting around after a rehearsal discussing what show they would love to do, if they had their own Theatre. The seed was planted and grew faster than any of them could anticipate. With a solid organizational approach and a knack for community relations, these three friends set out to make their dream a reality because their heads could no longer contain what was growing inside. After a year of serious business planning and fundraising, BrightSide is ready. Forming a strong relationship with North Central College, BrightSide Theatre is committed to bring classic and premiere comedies and musicals to the local scene.

Situated in Downtown Naperville, BrightSide is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants and social establishments. BrightSide is also conveniently located a short walk away from the Metra Station. BrightSide provides a complete evening out for the local residents and fun night for visitors to the area as well.
Professional Theatre at Reasonable prices.
Enjoying live theatre should not be a luxury. We have set our individual and season ticket prices at a reasonable level so that everyone gets a chance to enjoy a great time at the theatre! Plus we are employing some of the best actors, directors and designers that Chicago has to offer! Normally, a couple would have to spend over $100 each to enjoy this level of entertainment. Not here. Our tickets start at $18.

We are packing our seasons with lots of laughs and soaring musicals to keep our audiences entertained and full of enjoyment. We are also committed to the education of the younger members of the community. Our Theatre for Youth and Educational Programs will begin soon. So stay tuned!
