New Planning and Zoning Commission
On February 1, 2011 the City Council passed an ordinance merging the functions of the Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. The resulting Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC) will maintain responsibility for consideration of land use issues and will take on additional duties related to consideration of zoning and sign variance requests.
The Zoning Board of Appeals held its final meeting on April 12, 2011. Variances are now considered by the PZC, which meets twice monthly on the first and third Wednesdays of the month.
The following applications should be used to submit sign and zoning variance requests to the new PZC:
